If you have just arranged a free trial of one of our wide range of hot and cold water dispensers, or maybe you’ve just received a quote, you may be wondering what your next step is. At Thirsty Work, we make owning and using a water dispenser as simple as possible, to allow you to get on with what’s important with the knowledge that you are drinking only the freshest, best tasting water.

With this in mind, we take all of the hassle out of getting your dispenser installed by handling everything for you. As a proud member of the BWCA, we are committed to upholding the highest codes of practice when it comes to installing your dispenser, so whether you’re looking for a bottle-fed or mains-fed dispenser for your counter-top or floorspace, here’s what we do to make installing your dispenser as simple as possible.

Bottled Dispensers

Installing a bottled dispenser is a simple case of one of our friendly delivery team popping by and dropping your new dispenser into your premises for you. It’s as easy as that. All that we need is 1 square foot of floor or counter space, 4½ feet of clearance for floor-standing units or 2½ feet for counter-top units, and a mains electricity output within a meter of where the dispenser will be placed.

Mains Fed Dispensers

Similar to our bottled dispensers, our qualified delivery team will take care of every aspect of installing your mains-fed units. From delivery to connecting the dispenser to the mains water, you can relax as we take care of everything.

Also like our bottled dispensers, our mains-fed units only require 1 square foot of floor or counter space and a mains power outlet within 1 meter, and as they don’t require the bottle on top they require just 4 feet and 2 feet of clearance for floor-standing and counter-top units respectively. The only difference is that our driver will need a mains water supply within 13 metres of the cooler, and will need to turn your water off for 15-20 minutes to connect your cooler.

To keep your surfaces neat and tidy, counter-top units may require our driver to drill a small hole through the counter for the mains water hose to pass through. This ensures that you don’t have pipework cluttering your surfaces and becoming a potential hazard, and keeps your dispenser and workplace looking immaculate.

What Next?

And that’s it! Your water dispenser is now installed and all you need to do is enjoy your fresh, clean, great tasting water! We will now arrange for one of our team to pop back in every so often for a quick maintenance check, and to sanitise the unit and change the filter to keep your water as fresh as possible.
