How we use your information

This privacy notice tells you what to expect when Thirsty Work collects personal information. We operate in the B2B sector holding limited EU citizen data and hold personnel information. Data for marketing purposes is screened for TPS and GDPR and provided by approved data selling companies. Thirstywork only purchases data for businesses, (not B2C) for the purpose of marketing.

Visitors to our websites

When someone visits www.thirstywork.com we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.

Thirstywork a third party service to help maintain the security and performance of the Thirstywork website. To deliver this service it processes the IP addresses of visitors to the Thirstywork website.

People who contact us via social media

We use a third party provider, Facebook and Twitter to interact on social media.

People who speak to our Customer Services

When you call Thirtywork’s Customer Services we collect Call times, numbers and durations as part of our data capture. We use this information to help improve its efficiency and effectiveness. Should orders be placed data may be captured in order to deliver and is stored on site and at a private secure data centre. Calls may be recorded and are stored for up to 45 days for training purposes.

People who email us

We monitor any emails sent to us, including file attachments, for viruses or malicious software. Please be aware that you have a responsibility to ensure that any email you send is within the bounds of the law.

People who use our LiveChat service

We use a third party provider, Lucky Orange, to supply and support our LiveChat service, which we use to handle customer enquiries in real time.

If you use the LiveChat service we will collect your name, email address (optional) and the contents of your LiveChat session. This information will be retained and will not be shared with any other organisations.

You can request a transcript of your LiveChat session if you provide your email address at the start of your session or when prompted at the end.

How to find out what data we hold about you

Data is held in Thirstywork’s secure data centre and offsite in a secure data centre. Online security is arranged by a third party and your data is protected. It is important to be aware that there is no security method that is 100% safe. Personnel information is normally held for six months after the end of the contract.
