Providing fresh drinking water has a relatively small effect on the environment, but like any other business our activities still have some impact. We are committed to improving our own performance and preventing pollution of the local, regional and global environment.
At Thirsty Work we do not believe it is possible for us to be a “Carbon Neutral” business
but we believe we can reduce our impact on the environment by:
• Offering all existing and potential customers clear and factual advice regarding the
environmental impact of both bottled and mains fed watercoolers.
• Using ecologically sound recyclable packaging materials.
• Where possible handling the recycling of our products and packaging without relying
on our customers. We currently recycle our waste in the following categories:
paper,cardboard, plastics, metals and general.
• Operating an open policy between suppliers, customers and staff on ideas and
practical solutions on how we, as a business, can move forward regarding all
aspects and efficiencies that can benefit the environment.
